While at UH, he was chosen to be one of the Hawaii Opera Studio singers. He moved to New York in 2001 to follow his passion for music and the arts and studied opera as a Resident Young Artist with the Dicapo Opera Theatre. “Our Finest Gifts” is George’s first recording project, but he sings as a soloist and with the choir at First Presbyterian Church throughout the year.

While Elika is a local boy at heart, we are lucky to actually catch him while he’s flying through town. This incredibly versatile tenor has been traveling the world as one of Holland America’s finest soloist aboard their glorious cruise ships. However, in 2008 he gave an unforgettable performance as Enjolras in Diamond Head Theatre’s Les Miserables. In 2010, he joined the famous Society of Seven, and Hawaii’s Star-Advertiser wrote, “Ruivivar’s latest stellar find is Elika Santos, (who) clearly deserves his place as the newest member of the group. Santos stands out from the opening number…on through several show-stopping showcase segments. He thrilled the opening crowed with a pair of Journey hits and topped that with a tribute to Pavarotti.” Also in 2010, he joined Hawaii Opera Theatre in their production of La Boheme. Singing all genres of music – Opera, Rock, Pop, Standards, and Musical Theatre, Elika is one of Hawaii’s finest vocal instructors.
Ryan has been performing in Hawaii and abroad for 20+ years. His love of music spans many genres from Gospel, Opera, Musical Theater, Pop, Hawaiian, and all music that shares emotion and tells a story. Ryan currently performs as an Emcee for Tihati Productions in Waikiki and throughout the Hawaiian Islands. But recently he has been inspired to begin working on his first solo CD as well as other exciting musical projects that will be coming out in the Spring and Summer of 2015.
